We don’t know what Pip looked like before she ended up needing rescuing. But we can start there, both Pip and Marley looked awful and needed a good wash and groom.
Marley is quite clearly a Hungarian Puli, it is not as clear with Pip, there is definitely a Hungarian Puli in there, but we think also a little of Tibetan Terrier. It could be anything and we don’t care, as we love her.
She started cording beautiful, just like a Puli, which we loved, 2 matching dogs. However Pip not being a full Puli and having very sensitive skin, hated her cords, continues scratching and biting her coat. So the decision was made to remove the cords and have her a little shorter.
We couldn’t just pick up a clipper and trim her coat off, as Pip is missing an ear and has horrendous scars on her body, it doesn’t seem to bother her, we don’t love her any less. However I don’t want other people to see or notice this first.
